Before and After Surgery

A medical examination (check-up) is required prior to surgery. This includes a general blood test, urea, glu, APTT, Prothrovubine time, and a cardiogram and clinical examination by a cardiologist. More medical tests might be required. We will give you all the information you need to prepare for surgery and recovery. You will be asked to avoid smoking, aspirin, and certain other medications for at least 10 days prior to the operation. Following your procedure, there will be certain restrictions to your activities for several days to several weeks. Written instructions will be given to you. It also takes time for the visible signs of healing (bruising, numbness ) to subside. Plan your business and social activities to allow sufficient time for recovery.
